For those of you who are familiar with rumba beats and soukous, the name Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba, also known as Koffi Olomide should ring a bell. The soukous singer, dancer, producer and composer lost his cool while in Kenya as he assaulted one of the female dancers in his crew. According to reports, the female dancer was allegedly arguing with Koffi’s wife which prompted him to act in that manner. In a video clip, you could see that the legendary makossa singer was being calmed down by the Kenyan police as they all gathered to plead with the singer. Koffi who is accompanied by his wife, Aliane Olomide is billed to perform in Kenya’s state capital, Nairobi on Saturday alongside his crew. Watch clip below;
