Percy Martins, real name, Okosun Percy Osaremhen, is a songwriter and
singer. He was born and raised in his hometown in Edo, Nigeria, to a family
of six children. His love and passion for music started in his secondary
school days. He recorded his first song in SS1, and that experience was the
moment, he decided to become a professional musician.
His sound is best described as a fusion of Afrobeat and Afro-Soul. His
music is greatly influenced by the legendary Fela Anuikulapo-Kuti, Wizkid
and Runtown to name a few.
“Put A Ring” serves as his first mainstream release and he enlists the
support of hitmakers – Spellz (producer) and Duncan Mighty to create a
classy mid-tempo tune.
