Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, known as Ckay, whose hit track ‘Love Nwantiti’ become a rave worldwide has received a silver plaque in the United Kingdom.
Ckay was recognised by Parlophone Limited after ‘Love Nwantiti’ hit silver certification of over 200,000 sales in the UK.
The music star took to his Instagram page sharing pictures of receiving the award.
Alongside the photo, Ckay wrote: “My first plaque.”
‘Love Nwantiti’ which was released in 2019 became a hit and received international recognition in 2021 after a viral challenge on Tiktok.
Celebrities and fans took to his Instagram to congratulate him on the latest achievement, notable among them are, Davido, Neyo, DJ Spinall, May D among others.
Davido wrote: “First of many”, Neyo on the other hand wrote: “Congrats kiddo! Keep going!!”
