Popular Singer, 9ice And His Wife Mark Second Wedding Anniversary

The Gongo Aso crooner took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share a picture of himself and his wife, as he revealed that they had been friends for a decade.

“Abolore Akande, the Nigerian singer, who is better known as 9ice, and his wife, Sunkanmi, recently marked their second wedding anniversary.

“9ice and Sukanmi shared a five-year-old daughter before they tied the knot in a Lagos court two years ago.

In November 2020, however, 9ice got into a cheating scandal and begged Nigerians to appeal to his wife for forgiveness.

It happened when a video of him fondling a lady that was not his wife surfaced online. Another picture showing him naked also went viral.

Days later, the singer shared a video where he was begging his wife for forgiveness. He had said, “I have excelled in many other things but one thing I have been failing at is my marriage.

“I want this marriage to work. Please, help me beg my wife. Save this marriage for me. Thank you so much. God bless you.”
