One of Nigeria’s indigenous rappers Phyno has been picked as our featured artist of the week.
“Something To Live For” album is a solid body of work that had the rollout with his Olamide assisted song ‘Do You Wrong‘.
Phyno describes his project; ‘The fourth studio album, “Something To Live For” from Phyno is a blend of Afro-pop, Afro-Rap, Highlife, and hip-hop.’
In addition, Phyno known for his versatile Igbo rap delivered his 4th studio album this week it arrived on all streaming platforms on Friday.
Brief Biography of ‘Phyno’;
Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known as Phyno Fino or Phyno, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He started his music career as a producer in 2003 and is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language.
Although a native of Anambra State, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike was born and raised in Enugu State. His stage name, given to him by one of his high school friends, was derived from the word phenomenal. Phyno developed an interest in music production during his secondary school days. – Wikipedia
