Born and raised in Akoka, Lagos State.
Temi’Tope Sholeye aka T’Quest paints a wide picture of sound using vocals
and good instrumentals.
Towards his final part in high school, Temi began writing his own lyrics
and formed a group of 9 boys – J.M.S (Juicy Mouth Squad).
J.M.S was, later, reduced to a 2-boy-band and renamed Ex-N (Meaning
Ex-Nefarious).
In 2000, T’Quest left Ex-N, re-connected with a childhood friend and they
formed a duo – “T.C Quest”.
T.C Quest released a single – “Double Trouble” which featured 9ice, this
led the group into good relationship with other producers and artistes. T.C
Quest signed a deal with Vision Gate Music and when the deal wasn’t
yielding an acceptable level of success, T’Quest moved on to get things
done on his own.
Going solo, T’Quest continued to record songs, stay motivated, ambitious,
and determined to break into the music industry and find himself.
Eventually, he’s found himself.
He recorded and started promoting two singles in 2013 – “My love song”
which featured ZEE and “Blow my mind” which gained much attention on social
media and radio requests, hence the laying of the actual foundation of the
musical career of T’Quest.
Now he is back with another single – “Running”
“Running” is an early and late night tune; a perfect song for the moment.
Hopefully, “Running” will become one of the greatest Jam in classic memory.
It’s a contemporary R’n’B Reggae. A story line that portrays the mind of a
lover man who got webbed in love.
