Akinwande Babajide Olamilekan Peace popularly called Jide Peace (JP) is a
Nigeria born contemporary gospel act and songwriter. Jide Peace being a
talented songwriter and a dynamic worship leader has always had the
feeling of preaching through soul lifting musics at a tender age of 10.
He recorded his first album in 2007, titled “Expression of Love”. His passion for
preaching the gospel through songs is
what led him towards shooting his first Musical Video “Story of Love” that brought
him into limelight. A video directed by
Gbenga Salu with a powerful contribution from Ijodee Dance.
Jide Peace has now storm the Nigerian Gospel music industry again, with a
new 10 tracks album titled “New Dawn”, among which “IGWE” the powerful,
sensational and soul lifting worship pies in included and has bless
many of his fans.
Jide Peace has written over 50 songs and has ministered and performed in
big churches and conferences like RCCG Lagos Province XI annual Musical
Concert (Real Worship), Next
level Conference organized by New Wine International, London to mention but a few.
Jide Peace is one of the top gospel artiste in Lagos and its environs.
He ministers and performs in churches, concerts and other special
occasions like weddings, birthdays,
graduations, etc.
Jide was born into the family of Prince Julius Femi Akinsanmi Akinwande from Owu,
Abeokuta in Ogun state.
