emPawa Africa buzzing artist, Joeboy has revealed that his latest single, Alcohol (Sip) has amassed 150 million streams across digital platforms.
The singer took to his official Instagram account, @joeboyofficial to make the announcement.
Alcohol was released two months ago and has topped charts across the world since its release.
Produced by Tempoe, the song already labelled one of the year’s biggest afrobeat singles amassed over 50 million streams within a month of release, reaching #1 on Billboard’s LyricFind Global chart and was also the most-streamed song of October on Audiomack, reports Mdundo.
It further topped Apple Music’s streaming chart in 17 countries, reaching #2 on Genius’ trending chart and #3 on Shazam’s Global Top 200. Two months later, Joeboy now says ‘Sip (Alcohol)’ has been streamed an impressive 150 million times. Additionally, the video also has over 11 million views on YouTube.
