Veteran musician, Majek Fashek has said that he is not part of a poster advert currently in circulation for a concert slated for the national stadium for November 26 tagged, ‘Reggae Meets Africa Meets Reggae and World Music Festival 2016.’
Speaking through his music business consultant Mr. Omenka Uzoma Day who is currently in the UK with the reggae icon, the rainmaker added that he will not be in the country in November as he was not consulted through his manager, Omenka aside the fact that he is still working on his forthcoming album as well as preparing for a big concert in manchester in december
Omenka says: “I don’t know why people enjoy taking advantage of another person. How can you put Majek on a poster that he is not consulted? The organizer is supposed to speak with me but he didn’t instead he thereafter began to advertise my client as one of the top artistes billed for his event. It is not done. Besides, we are still working on Majek’s album and at the same time preparing for a big concert next month in Manchester. Please, be informed that Majek is not part of that show and he will not be in Nigeria this month. We will inform the public when we return to Nigeria and be ready for back to back gigs. A word is enough for the wise.”
