The newly confirmed chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa has revealed that he has no issue with the former acting boss of the anti-graft agency.
Bawa who disclosed this during his confirmation hearing claimed that the former boss called to congratulate him.
According to him, he has cordial relationship with Magu and he was not arrested at any time.
He said:
“I have a very cordial relationship with former Acting Chairman Ibrahim Magu. I was never arrested nor detained by him. He called me on phone to congratulate me on my appointment. I do have a very cordial working relationship with former Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.”
