2022 Billboard Music Awards: Kanye West Wins Big In Christian and Gospel Categories
The American Rapper formerly known as Kanye West and now known as Ye, had a great night at the Billboard Music Awards as he won big in the Christian and gospel music categories. Ye also became the most awarded male artiste for the night.
The winners of this year’s awards were announced live on NBC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday night.
The award show was hosted by American musician Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
.West was named ‘Top Gospel Artist‘ and ‘Top Christian Artist,’ respectively. ‘Donda,’ his endeavor, was named ‘Top Gospel Album‘ and ‘Top Christian Album‘. The album’s track ‘Hurricane‘ also won accolades for ‘Top Gospel Song‘ and ‘Top Christian Song.’
Kanye West is currently tied for the eighth position on the all-time BBMA leaderboard with Eminem of Detroit, with 17 awards.
