According to reports, the House of Representatives, on Wednesday, rejected Nigerian manufactured, Innoson cars as part of their legislative welfare package.
According to reports, the lawmakers declined a suggestion from a House member to purchase SUVs for members from Innoson Motors based in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Reports have it that the lawmaker who made the Innoson SUVs suggestion during the plenary session was shouted down on the floor of the house.
Accordingly, it was further learnt that the lawmakers insisted on brand new imported SUVs against the locally assembled and made- in – Nigeria brands.
