Micheal Oloruwa Abolade better known as MICKEY born September 29, 1989 was born and
raised in Lagos Nigeria is a prolific song writer, Singer, Record Artist,
Performer, Entrepreneur and an
under graduate of university of Lagos.
Mickey started music as a teenager in the church as a chorister before he
began mimming and singing in the college. Mickey genre of music is Afro-
Hip hop, thou he is a versatile artiste because of his talent and love for music, he
singles fluently in English, pidgin and Yoruba his mother tongue. He became
dedicated to music after graduating from college, but he started professionally in
2011 and has worked with the likes of Da-voz, Hammid, Fliptyce, and sheyman; Mickey
was inspired by both local and international acts likes Femi Kuti, King Sunny Ade,
Bob Marley, R.kelly, 2face,Tracy Chapman, Asa, Outcast, Wyclef jean, Craig David and
