Fashion model and business entrepreneur Kate Agbaje’s alter-ego “Kfab aka Boss Lady”
was born in early 2013, it’s all started when she chose to manage her friend who is
a gospel artist, kfab fell inlove with music over again immediately she stepped into
the recording studio, & the rest is history, her video JaWon says the rest.
Kfab has always been passionate about music for as long as she can remember from
childhood days, through miming, playing look alike dress up of her favorite artists,
dancing & entertaining family & friends with music, performing in church and school,
for this happy fun loving child the sound of music was her oyster.

The video for Ja Won (“Upgrade Them” in Yoruba) was turned into a raunchy,
electrifying music video which Was audio produced by buffalo souljah, on a visual
level rivals any international market. The video was Shot in Johannesburg, the video
features spectacular break-dancing and feel-good visual effects.

“I am inspired by Jayz’s rapping and entrepreneurial skills, because I intend to
follow his entrepreneurial foot-steps in this industry, He is amazingly inspiring”
Singers that have influenced her are Whitney Houston, brandy and Aaliyah.

At the age of 18, when confronted with making a career choice, Kate’s aunt Comfort
Orji who lived in Lagos, suggested a career in modeling: “It was 2001, the year when
Nigerian model Agbani Darego became the first black African to be crowned Miss
World. My aunt told me that if Agbani could win, so should I give it a try” In 2002
my aunt bought me the registration forms for ‘Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria.’” But
heartbreak follows when my mom bluntly refused I follow such career, she couldn’t
imagine her child wearing a swim suit on a national tv “I cried and cried, & later
got over it” at least I thought I was over the idea until the next opportunity
presented itself in 2003 to register again, I had to disobey my mom this time, so I
went ahead and registered”
Kate was chosen as one of 24 contestants among over 700 applicants from all around
the country, which gave her an instant platform to become a career model, with
appearances on television, radio stations, on billboards, and endorsements by
Nigerian brands, which also led to her trip to Paris and Berlin that same year.
